商业气氛多于竞技气氛的来访，不过还是很高兴3D能选择中国，因为毕竟这些战队的总经理又不是瞎子，中国人多，自然Fans也多，盲目的fans更多，这个从什么鸟玉米就能看出来。

可惜Ksharp没来，现在对于他的印象仅仅限于Nuke上面拿着awp横冲直闯1v10了……旧的不去新的不来，NiP的Potti也选择了引退，这次的决定确实比较轰动。大家跟群里面和论坛上都讨论了，八成意见认为Potti会就此退役，RobbaN如果表现好的话留队，表现不怎么样就踢走换人。HeatoN不知道什么时候退役呢？毕竟也算老人了，转到幕后当教练或者经理也不错啊，培养更多的苗子。

iTG的解说员Darren 'lun' Webber（1980年11月14日——2006年3月5日）于上周日在一次车祸中不幸去世，年仅25岁。



iTG网站专门发文悼念：

“今天，我们之中的一员——Darren 'lun' Webber永远的离开了我们，年仅25岁的他在一次车祸中抢救无效去世。那些了解他的人都知道他是一个对任何自己所做事情都倍加热情的人。这条新闻对于我们所有人来说都是那么的沉重。文字已经不能表达iTG此刻的心情。让我们给他的家人、朋友和他身边的一切人带去思念和祈祷。他是一个让大家尊敬的解说员，就这么去了。愿他在天堂安息，他永远活在我们心中。”

让我们为游戏界又一颗明星的陨落而悼念。

前两天大熊da_bears离开了人心涣散的JMC，剩下smoogier一个光杆司令在队中。当时觉得这老家伙是不是该退役了？不过还好，昨天Vanessa透露给我个内幕消息：“Db要去EG了！”

前天我们报道了Da_bears离开JMC的消息，今天他的去处有了归属。

离开JMC之后，da_bears发表了声明：

我离开JMC是因为在那里呆的不高兴，”他说，“对我来说一切都很茫然，赞助商不见了，阵容分崩离析。所以很多原因导致我离开这里，我不想再这样下去了。”

JMC的经理是这样说的：

Erik是个非常好的人，我和EG管理层的关系也非常好。”Jax说道。“我和双方都对这次人员变动交流过，感觉并不难办。我真诚的希望他和EG能好运。至于他的离开对JMC有多大的影响，我们的阵容会怎样变化还很难说，但是身后的赞助商会给予我们支持。我们会在夏天卷土重来的，回归到北美CS强队行列中。”

da_bears在离开JMC后决定加盟EG，对于他的加盟，EG的总经理Alex 'Chibsquad Garfield是这么告诉我们的（节选）：

“我们不会招入不熟悉的人，不管他名声多么响亮。所以，我们在一天晚上列了个表，并且邀请da_bears来训练。我们对于他的态度和个性非常满意，所以我们决定和他一起训练。……”

da_bears自己对于这次变动怎么看呢？

“……我常常对Jimmy开玩笑说如果我拿到了加拿大公民身份我就会成为EG| da_bears。但是现在看来这已经不是一个玩笑了。……我想要加入一支有保障、稳定并且具有超人潜力的队伍，EG是完美之选。”

现在EG的阵容为：

EG是加拿大数一数二的强队，da_bears去那里并不奇怪，况且EG在一个月前就开始和da_bears联系准备挖JMC的墙脚。但是da_bears的生涯未免也太颠沛流离了，去哪哪散……莫非他就是传说中的扫把星-_-

现在EG里面四个加拿大人一个美国人，希望他们好运……别再出什么岔子。

第二章正在写作中，是一位现在玩家们可能都不熟悉的老牌Quake3高手，能和RB齐名的。名字就不透露了。

Yan Ying is a common name that would not be familiar to most of the players in China. But mention the nickname “Maverick" and it would reverberate like thunder for Chinese Quake players. After all, he's considered the Godfather of Quake in China, the man most credit with jump-starting and focusing the concept of competitive gaming and V-sports for Chinese gamers.

Every child has his own long-range dream-- Maverick once wanted to be a aviator. Perhaps the dream of flying high and running quick was the inspiration for his achievements on the Chinese gaming scene.

China’s biggest Quake Site, Q3acn.com, was founded Oct, 9, 1999 by Maverick and fellow gamers Huang “Stoneman” Lei (the editor of Gaming World, a popular Chinese magazine); Chen “Sunky” Liangyu; (one of the top Chinese Quake 2 and Quake 3 players); Nie “nbp” Jing (the editor of “Computer Business Information – Gaming World, and a highly-regarded player in China); and Zhang “MZ” Liangyu (Maverick’s friend and now the assistant manager of Tian Fu Gaming Hotline, a well-known Chinese gaming news magazine).

Their goal was to create the most professional web site in the Chinese gaming world, a serious endeavor that would provide a home for the country’s growing gamer community. Q3acn refused to take advertisements early in its existance, focusing on being an independent and generally fun source for news of China’s Quake gaming scene.

Maverick had a hard fight on his hands to establish the magazine. There was a lot of prejudice against gamers, with many saying the violence of gaming would block its progress in China. As such, despite its popularity, it never established a revenue stream that would allow it to thrive financially. Its fortunes have lately waned, as Chinese gamers are now focused more on Counter-Strike and the Quake 3 community has departed for Quake 4. Even Maverick, ever the optimist, admits that the site will likely slowly fade away.

In May, 2000, Maverick left his job at CBI Gaming World and went to Beijing to take a job with Softchina Inc. to begin another chapter in his legendary gaming caeeer. Impressed with the rapid growth of Q3acn.com, and noting the expansion of gaming in other parts of the world, Softchina hired Maverick to set up and stage pro gaming tournaments in China.

The first fruit of his new job was the Impect-Extream China Quake Tournament, held in August, 2000. The tournament, the first major event in China, offered a prize of 83,000 yuan (about $10,000 U.S.). The average salary of a Beijing citizen at that time was 1000 yuan, so, naturally, the tournament caused a lot of excitement. It used the CPL gaming system and management method, but was not the official China stop of the CPL World Tour.

Maverick was only 27 at the time, an old man by gamer standards, but still ambitious and brimming with ideas on where to go next. Despite still facing problems with negative perceptions of gaming, Maverick continued on, organizing Chinese game tournaments.

In 2001, he made yet another move that had a major impact on Chinese gaming. Maverick flew to Korea in 2001 and became the first Chinese journalist to cover the World Cyber Games. His passion for gaming was reflected in the now-legednary article, “Honor Goes To The Gamers,” which lit a fire among gaming fans, helping yet again to grow gaming. In that article, he coined the phrase, “By Quakers, For Quakers,” and it became something of a battle cry among his legion of fans. Yet Maverick remained humble about his role in creating the enthusiasm. “This site is for the Quakers and created by all Q3a gamers. It doesn’t belong to me. I’m just guiding the direction.”

Today, Maverick is 33, and remains optimistic that gaming is just starting to grow in China. Despite his prominence in the gaming community, he is known universally for his kindness toward all. His fame is such that he often has to disguise himself and go on a public server in order to find someone to fight. “It’s a pity I haven’t played in any tournaments,” says Maverick. “I’m not a bad dueler on Quake 3.”

His current job is working on the Ninjas in Pajamas official Chinese gaming site. He continues to also be an active promoter of the gaming scene, although he seems to, at times, pine for the early days and sinple joys of the early scene. "Whatever Chinese gamers have won nowadays, I can’t compare it to the feeling I had when RocketBoy won the 4th prize in WCG," Maverick told me. "You know, it still affects me to the point I’m incapable of putting that feeling into words.”

性侵犯甚至同性猥亵在演艺界已经不是什么新鲜事情了，比如Michael Jackson闹得沸沸扬扬的猥亵男童事件，和我们中国不甘人后的红豆事件。没想到电子竞技界竟然也会出现这种事情，实在是这个新鲜产业上的一个污点。

权力的滥用，用GB现在经理的话来说不是“前无古人后无来者”的事情，而这种利用青少年对于电子竞技明星盲目崇拜和对自己电竞前途抱有幻想的心态进行进一步侵害则是更令人发指的。不过Spike这个老头还仅仅是限于“索要照片”这个境界，不知道又有多少梦想成为电竞明星的少男少女们正处于魔爪之下呢？

还好国内对于电子竞技的态度一直是一头热，暂时不会出现这种龌龊事情。玩家们疯狂支持，而某些部门抱着支持的态度来进行封杀……扯远了，不知道老外们对于这种犯罪是怎么看的呢？反正NiP-Gaming.com和Gotfrag.com上已经被掀起了轩然大波，玩家们都觉得这是一个耻辱。

我经常会塞一些乱七八糟的关于电子竞技的东西在我的Space里面，结果一会儿是平时爱好的总结，一会儿又是游戏，看的我自己脑仁都疼，遂新开一个blog专门记述电子竞技。
